About
Irina Kara is a contemporary painter from Chișinău whose work is built on the expressive power of color, light, and texture. Trained as an architect, she brings a structural way of thinking together with an intuitive, emotional approach to painting.
In her work, color becomes the primary means of conveying mood, energy, and impression. A rich palette, dynamic brushwork, and a blend of abstract and semi-figurative forms create a recognizable visual language of her own.
Irina Kara has taken part in solo and international group exhibitions in Moldova and abroad, including projects in London. Her works are held in private collections in several countries.
